A Letter from HealthSmart

COVID-19 Action Plan

To Our Valued Customers,

As with the rest of the world, we are closely watching the news and monitoring the ever-evolving situation with COVID-19. During these times, our business practices will be evolving too, as we continue to adjust and adapt over the next several weeks.

We are following the advice of local and federal health officials at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as the World Health Organization (WHO). We urge everyone to do their part in following proper hygiene and social interactions to help prevent this virus from spreading further.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, partners and customers, we will be making temporary adjustments to our current business policies to:

  • Where applicable, HealthSmart’s employees will work remotely until further notice. We have equipped our teams with the tools necessary to perform at the highest level of professionalism and efficiency during these times.
  • Both international and domestic travel has been restricted until further notice or as advised by the CDC. In response to the current situation, we will also be limiting non-critical visitors to our offices.
  • Our Customer Service Teams and Implementation Teams are dedicated to our customers and have the necessary tools to ensure your orders ship during these difficult times.

As you can imagine, our high-quality brands including Stork, Briggs Healthcare, HealthSmart, DMI, MABIS, Heelbo, Steins, SwitchSticks and Brazos Walking Sticks are in high demand with limited quantities. Rest assured we are doing our best to keep the vital product lines like thermometers, blood pressure, obstetrics, and other consumable medical supplies in stock and ready to ship during this time of crisis. We encourage you to place your orders with us via EDI, email or online to avoid wait times on the phone lines and to secure your place in line as restock becomes available. We will continue our business operations as planned and provide critical updates as necessary.

Our team is up for the challenge and will continue to deliver and maintain high-quality results regardless of location. Our thoughts go out to all those who have been affected by this extraordinary event as we continue to support healthcare workers, communities and government officials on the front lines working to contain this pandemic.

As the situation evolves we will continue to adjust, together we will get through these unprecedented times.
