Works well on all chairs, and even in restaurant booths, or seating. So easy to carry along with the handles, I've even used it on outside benches that would have been too low otherwise. Invaluable accessory after hip replacement surgery, as even in doctors offices the chairs are sometimes just too low. Help in autos as well. I'm still using mine 10 weeks post-op. Very cushy! and if you need stability, the added board helps (its removable).
