DMI® Sliding Transfer Bench Shower Chair with Cut-Out Seat

This operates very easily and allows you to slide across from the outside the tub to the inside of the tub. The obvious downfall is that 1/2 of the piece of equipment sits outside of the tub and does not look very nice, that's the least of anyone's problem when it makes your life so simple. The downfall to this is the obvious as well which is that the shower curtain does not keep all of the water inside the shower if your using it as a shower because your shower liner is obstructed by this piece of equipment. But this thing does do the job very well.

I am only giving this a middle range score for now. It arrived as promised and there were no exterior signs of damages to the packaging, but one of the end pieces "part B" had a bent pole at the hole that was to have the slide rail inserted. The plastic ring was also cracked. Very disappointed with the manufacturer, but Amazon has been great at trying to set up the return of this one and ordering a new one. But unfortunately the replacement item will arrive after my mom's surgery. We had hoped to have it set up and adjusted before she would be in surgical pain and really needs it. Will report back once we receive the replacement bench and actually make use of it.

I purchased this shower chair for my daughter. It has been such a tremendous help. She is able to transfer out of her chair on to the shower chair without me having to lift her. The fact that it slides into the shower is awesome. My husband installed a shower sprayer bracket lower so the water is on her back and not pouring from up high onto her head. This makes shower time an enjoyable experience for both of us because I do not have to try and hold the sprayer and wash her hair at the same time Much easier than a standard shower chair!
