Switch Sticks Folding Walking Stick, Black

I'm very pleased with my walking stick, which has helped me enormously through two lengthy outings so far. I'm about 5'6", so can use it to steady myself on rough or unfinished surfaces that might otherwise be hazardous. The seat slides into place easily and is reasonably comfortable, though it might be a bit small for heavier people. For me this little contraption provides the safety (and gives me the confidence) needed to go places I've recently had to avoid. Thank You!

This is a great device and just what I was looking for. I am 140 lbs and feel reasonably confident in its stability. I'm not sure it could take up to another 100 lbs. I took a star off because the quality leaves something to be desired. It wobbles. It doesn't fold and unfold smoothly. It is nice and lightweight. Although I might feel self conscious in many situations, for a festival or a museum etc it could well be the difference in attending or staying home. If I like it enough, I might invest in a higher quality item. Make sure you sit on it with the handle in front of you, not in the back!

I purchased the 2-in-1 folding walking stick seat for my mom to use when we went on vacation. She loved it. It came in handy so many times. Normally, she would have to sit on a bench away from us while we wait, but this cane allowed her to sit with us as we waited on line and to be included in the activity. She received many compliments on the cane as well. I would highly recommend it for anyone that uses a cane and has trouble standing for long periods of time.
