Good pillow

by -

I wish I would have read the measurements lol it was smaller than I thought. But that’s on me . Lol other than that, the pillow give just the right amount of support that I want and needed. It is supportive in any position that I have been in. I would def recommend! As far as pain relief not too sure about that

The only kind of pillow I can use on my neck

I have a herniated disc in my neck, and these "boomerang" pillows are THE ONLY pillows that allow me to get any sleep. I've tried thick pillows, I've tried soft pillow. I've tried thin pillows, cheap pillows. I've invested money in "miracle" pillows. I've stacked 2 pillows, 3 pillows, I've used stuffed animals instead of pillows... I've done everything I can think of to get proper support for my neck. Boomerangs are the only thing that work for me.That being said- this brand isn't my favorite.... But it's still better than rectangle pillows. It allows you to "get up in it" ("it" being the middle of the pillow, where all the support is, of course). With rectangle pillows, I have to beat them into submission, re-shaping them over and over, all night. But that's not the case with boomerangs. I've used them for years, I never go anywhere (overnight) without one.I highly recommend a boomerang for anyone with neck pain- I even converted my husband. That being said- this one isn't my favorite... it IS more sturdy in the middle than some other boomers, which is really nice. But it attracts pet hair like crazy! I had to buy a lint brush to keep by my bed, and I use it on this pillow 2-3 times a week. That drives me a little batty, to be honest. I feel like I'm constantly swallowing hair. For that reason, I can't give it 4 stars. But like I said- boomerang pillows are a necessity in my life, so I would certainly (even happily) swallow hair before I switched back to a regular pillow.

First night

Received these pillows yesterday and it's the only new pillow that on night one I was able to sleep all night without throwing it off the bed and getting the old one. It will take some getting used to because it keeps you in a better position. I have had neck surgery and suffer from chronic neck and shoulder tightness and KNOTS. Usually wake up with stiff back, neck and a headache. Toss and turn all night. I actually woke up this morning without the stiffness or headache. Sleep was improved, not great but better than most nights. I am looking forward to more nights on this pillow and hoping for continued improvement. My husband has a bone spur on his shoulder that causes him pain. He said he slept pretty good, but pillow will take some time to get used to. I think it will be much more beneficial for me and my neck, shoulder and back issues then for his shoulder. Time will tell.
