DMI® Ortho Bed Wedges

I ordered this wedge to help elevate my foot after surgery. Piling up pillows just never seems to work. This wedge is working perfectly! It is firm without being hard and it is very comfortable. It really is sooo much easier than dealing with pillows and I highly recommend it!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I like this one better than the 8 inch. It doesn’t seem to help pain that much in my husband’s case. I like using it to rest my legs but can’t do it all night. Now please don’t laugh - but this is our favorite use- We have a little 9 year old 6lb Yorkie & the Wedge is the perfect size little ramp for her to get on the couch!

I lovev DMI egg crate with the back seat cushions! Use them in all our recliners under the covers. BUT the DMI 8" wedge is rock hard! I had Achllies partial removal with transplant and more. I needed it so nothing touches the heel and above my heart. Thought at first might be able to carve an area out so heel does not touch. Glad I tried first with the plastic on it to see how legs did with half casted leg/heel proped up. After an hour the wedge was so uncomfortable from the firmness on my good leg it hurt and the pressure on the good heel. UGH!! I am 5'4 170. Tried again later in day. No go. However should have thought of this any way folded the DMI seat with back and put in a pillow case! Nice king pillow set on top....ahhh comfort at last...yes both legs fit nice. So anyone who has to have Achilles surgery very nice wedge. The seat in case and king size FIRM pillow do not sift.
